Understanding Long-Range Fights
Long-range fights in BGMI demand a keen eye, precision, and strategic thinking. When engaging in long-range combat, consider the following tips:
1. Weapon Choice:
- Opt for weapons with low recoil and high accuracy, like sniper rifles (AWM, Kar98k) or designated marksman rifles (Mini 14, SLR).
- Attachments like scopes (3x, 4x, 6x, or 8x) and muzzle stabilizers enhance long-range precision.
2. Cover and Concealment:
- Position yourself behind natural cover (rocks, trees) or use buildings to conceal your movements.
- Peek and shoot from behind cover to minimize your exposure to enemy fire.
3. Patience and Observation:
- Resist the urge to spray bullets randomly; instead, focus on observing enemy movements and predicting their patterns.
- Prioritize accuracy and land well-placed shots to maximize damage and conserve ammunition.
4. Bullet Drop and Travel Time:
- Account for bullet drop and travel time when using sniper rifles. Practice in training mode to gauge bullet drop at various distances.
Excelling in Mid-Range Combat
Mid-range fights are often intense and require fast reflexes, versatility, and effective positioning. Follow these tips to dominate mid-range battles:
1. Versatile Loadout:
- Opt for assault rifles (M762, Scar-L) and versatile SMGs (Vector, UMP45) to excel in mid-range encounters.
- Attachments like scopes (Red dot , 3x) and grips for better stability will enhance your mid-range performance.
2. Mobility and Strafing:
- Move unpredictably and use strafing (sideways movement) to make yourself a harder target to hit.
- Use the “lean” function to peek around corners and surprise opponents.
3. Team Communication:
- In squad-based modes, communicate with your team to coordinate attacks and focus fire on opponents.
- Share enemy positions and coordinate flanking maneuvers to gain a tactical advantage.
4. Positioning and High Ground:
- Seek elevated positions and high ground to gain a better view of the battlefield and dominate mid-range encounters.
- Be mindful of the shrinking playzone and ensure you’re well within the safe zone.
Personal Choice of Weapons
For long-range combat, we like assault rifles like the M416 or Scar-L.
Low-calibre rounds make it simple to regulate the bullet recoil of these weapons, and accessories like tactical stocks and grips allow you to further reduce the recoil, making the M416 the weapon of choice for long- and medium-range combat.
Choose sniper rifles like the AWM or M24 if your precision is strong and you are confident that your rounds won’t miss your adversaries. On the other hand, if you are unsure of your accuracy, go for long-range spray guns like the M416 and Scar-L. SMGs or firearms that fire bullets of a high caliber, such as the M762 or AKM, are my particular preference for mid-range combat.SMGs like the UMP49 or UZI do explosive damage when fired at the target, but you need to aim very carefully because these weapons fire at a rapid clip-reload rate, giving your adversary an opportunity to knock you out.
On the other hand, using heavy weapons like the AKM and M762 in BGMI provides you an advantage in terms of damage per bullet, allowing you to easily knock your opponents back.
